    Hi Bonnie,

Yes, many women have taken Atroiza or Atenef when they are pregnant. They contain the same meds as Atripla, please see here.

    Hi Thandoe,

This can happen when someone starts meds. There are many reasons for this, for example if your CD4 count was low. How much weight have you put on and over what time frame? Are you exercising and is your diet balanced?

    Hi Joyce,

If its just a few hours either side of your normal time, no. If there are big gaps, then yes this can be an issue.

    Hi Ntombothando,

If your viral load is undetectable there isn’t any risk. Please see here: http://i-base.info/u-equals-u/ If your viral load is detectable, then yes there is a risk.

    Hi Mpumelelo,

A persons viral load should become undetectable within 1-3 months of starting treating. Unless you’re had issues with your medication your viral load should be undetectable.

I am on treatment for 6 years how long its take for the virus to be undetectable?
