Are generics as good as branded ARVs?

Hello. My insurance company is recommending I switch to generic Atripla. I have been taking Atripla for 10 years and have done very well with treatment including maintaining high CD4 and undetectable viral load since treatment began 10 years ago. My doctor is out of town and won’t be available until next week and I am due for more medication. Will switching to generic cause issues with my excellent health and progress?
