Missed meds and risk to sexual partner….

I forgot to take my arvs and had sex the following day and i wasn’t aware that he wasn’t using a condom. Is there any risk?

If you’re taking ARVs and your viral load is undetectable, there’s no risk.

If your viral load is not yet undetectable, then yes there’s a risk if you have sex without a condom. But you should also talk to your doctor to see whether you need to use a different treatment.

Missing a day of medication won’t have an impact on your viral load.
