Can I take black seeds with my HIV medication?

Can black seeds be taken with HIV treatment? Will the black seeds boost your immune system?

There is no benefit from taking black seed (Nigella sativa, thymoquinone).

Like thousands of other herbs there are no studies about drug interactions.

    Thanks Robert, I’ve seen this paper before and the difficulty with a single case report is that there is no way to show whether or not these seeds made any difference or whether these test results would have happened anyway. The impact of any treatment needs to be looked at in studies with more than one person and to compare people using the compound compared to those you didn’t, preferable with the groups being randimised and double-blinded.

    HI Patience, how much weight have you gained and over how long? As mentioned in the main question there is no benefit to taking black seed. Are you currently on ART?
