What are the side effects of Reydin?

Hi, my doctor gave me Reydin and I was drinking it at night at fist. My gums started bleeding and after that I had trouble concentrating. I also forget very easily. It is like I’m loosing my mind, what could be the problem?

Reydin is a generic version of TLD. This link is to a previous question about all TLD side effects. Reydin does not cause bleeding gums. Have you mentioned this symptom to a doctor?
How are you sleeping at night? Reydin is often best tolerated when taken during the morning. It can cause problems sleeping. If this is the case it would explain why you are having trouble concentrating.

Hi Sithabile, Reydin and Ranega are the same medication. They are both generic versions of TLD. They have a different name because they have been made by different companies. They will both work the same way.
Diarrhoea is a side effect of TLD but as you have already been taking a form of TLD this is not likely the reason. Have you noticed any other symptoms?

Does reydin make one to have diarrhoea? I have been taking ranega but when l went to the pharmacy they had no ranega and they gave me reydin and my tummy is running now.

Hi Keboglie, the symptoms you have mentioned are not linked with taking Reydin. How are you sleeping? Reydin can cause problems sleeping which could then lead into the symptoms you have described. This can be sorted by taking Reydin in the morning rather than the evening.
How much weight have you lost? and how long have you been experiencing the symptoms that you have mentioned?
I started talking reydine at night is 2months now,I’m losing weight, swollen foot and sometimes dizziness

Reydin is not linked with the symptoms you have suggested. Have you spoken to a doctor? and did you have any of these symptoms before switching to Reydin?
Hi, i started using Reydin 2 months ago but have been on ARV medication for 19 years.
With Reydin now my body changes rapidly, i’m losing weight, my skin is getting darker, my beautiful complexion & hands too. I forget easily and i’m frequently exhausted, even if im just sitted doing nothing. Please advise
Hi Thembi, have you been on Reydin since you were diagnosed? Reydin and Volutrip are the same medication, they have just been made by different manufacturers. Are you taking Reydin and Volutrip together? If you are you may be taking too much of the same medication. Have you spoken to a doctor about your symptoms?
