What are the side effects of Reydin?

Hi, my doctor gave me Reydin and I was drinking it at night at fist. My gums started bleeding and after that I had trouble concentrating. I also forget very easily. It is like I’m loosing my mind, what could be the problem?

Reydin is a generic version of TLD. This link is to a previous question about all TLD side effects. Reydin does not cause bleeding gums. Have you mentioned this symptom to a doctor?

How are you sleeping at night? Reydin is often best tolerated when taken during the morning. It can cause problems sleeping. If this is the case it would explain why you are having trouble concentrating.

    Hi Luh, Reydin is not associated with weight loss. Reydin actually has a risk of causing weight gain. Do you know how much weight you have lost since starting Reydin? and have you changed anything in your lifestyle that might contribute to this e.g., more exercise, eating less or taking other medications?

    Hi Vuyir, Reydin does not have any impact on your sex drive. If this is a persistent problem you will need to speak with your doctor.

    Hi David, after a week Reydin will no longer be able to work as PEP. PEP needs to be taken within 72 hours to be effective. Taking Reydin now will no longer have an effect on the risk from exposure.

    Hi Solly, yes you can. Reydin is a treatment for HIV. It is a generic version of TLD. It should be taken everyday to ensure that viral load is suppressed. This will prevent HIV impacting on your health.
