Q and A

Question

Will I be positive if my partner tested positive?

I tested negative in early April and my partner girlfriend tested positive.

The last time we had unprotected sex it was January and I also had unprotected sex with another girl in February and the girl tested negative.

Does this mean I’m gonna be positive too since my partner is positive?

Answer

Hi Taku, no you do not need another test. No test is ever 100% accurate.

After 3 months your test is considered conclusive. Testing after 6 months will provide nothing additional.

Scientifically told every Hiv test after 3months of exposure is 99,97% accuracy.Need to confirm 6months after exposure to be sure.
