Will being late with PEP cause a rash?

I was late in taking my PEP three times, some 4 hours each time. Now I see rashes on both of my arms. How worried should I be?

How long into your course of PEP were you late? If you had already been on PEP for a few days before being late it is not going to be a problem.

Are these rashes you have experienced before? Being late with treatment would not cause rashes to appear.

If the rashes don’t go away or you are unsure about them, it is important to speak to a doctor about it.
