Q and A

Question

How long does HIV survive outside the body?

How long does HIV live outside the body in blood. Some info says 30 secs other go as far as to say hours.

Can HIV come alive and infectious if dried and then gets wet again?

I know that this seems like a weird question but I do have a legitimate reason for asking.

It is difficult to put an exact time on how long HIV can live outside the body as it depends on many factors. In general, HIV cannot live outside the body for more than a few minutes even in optimum conditions.

Once blood is dried, even if it becomes wet again, HIV will not become infectious again.

One month ago i had a protected sex with sex worker ( unknown statutes) and i used condoms.
However, i removed the condom form my penis and wiped my hands with dry napkins. Then i wiped my penis with another dry napkin.

So, iam afraid that a small trace of her viginal fluid got on my hands while removing the condom. The same hand i used to clean my peins.

Am i at risk for hiv

I go for testing hiv status where they use a gun to penetrate the fingertip to draw blood. They use new needle but on the gun there was dry blood that touches my finger tip which was just now penetrated. I saw the trace of that small dry blood after. Hi i put my life at risk.
I had protected sex with sex worker ( hiv status is unknown) on July 08 , after the ejaculation i removed the condom by myself and put knot at edge of the condom using my fingers , during this action some of vaginal fluid in outside layer of condom touched my finger ( it is small and not sticky ,it been like water )

after that I put my underwear using same fingers after 10 sec ( i thing some fluid wipe away by cloth during this action so i mentioned).
After 10 sec I washed my finger with tab water for 5 sec .
After that I mistakenly i washed my damaged penis mocus skin using the same finger and the problem is due to uncircumstances my penis foreskin are teared and bleed due to sex and some sperm also leaked out from my penis .
I feared about hiv transmission due to this idiot action u am dying every moment
