Starting treatment after 2 years…

Hi, l have been HIV positive about 2 years now and l haven’t started my treatment yet. It’s so hard for me to accept it and i’m depressed and stressed.

Hi, I am sorry to hear that you have been feeling this way.
Over the last 2 years have you been able to speak with anyone about how you are feeling? This could be friends and family, or even your doctor if you would be more comfortable to do so.
You have mentioned that you have yet to start treatment. Is this something that you are wanting to do? And have you been having regular CD4 count and viral load tests?

Adjusting to being HIV positive can be difficult and will be a different journey for every person. Is there something in particular about being positive that is causing you to be stressed and depressed or it is the whole thing?
