I am HIV positive and on ARVs but having reoccuring painful genital blisters and sores for more than a year now getting to the second year. My viral load is undetectable, i’ve tried herbs and coconut oil. The gynaecologist gave gave be candida cream, no help.

What is your CD4 count and what treatment are you taking?
Have you been to see any other doctors about these ongoing blisters e.g., sexual health doctors or dermatologists?
How long have you been living with HIV? Unless you have a low CD4 count it is unlikely these genital sores are HIV related.
What investigations have you had to determine the cause of these sores? and do you have any other health conditions?
