What is the 'window period' for twice-daily drugs?

With twice daily meds, do you have a large window to take your them, e.g. a couple of hours either side?
On ‘the body.com’ website, an expert has stated that you can have up to a four hour window?

When starting treatment, it is more important to try and get as close to the same times each day. Every combination is special – especially your first combination – and it is worth doing everything you can to help make it work.
This is to reduce the risk that at the end of the dose period some concentrations are too low and you risk resistance. Accurate timing is key but one-hour either side is probably fine for all twice-daily drugs.
