How many different types of tenofovir are there and what are the colours?
I am on ARVs but the colour got changed recently I am even scared that I might be taking the wrong one

Tenofovir, and many other HIV drugs, are produced by several different generic drug manufacturers. This means that there are several different colours and shapes of tablet that contain tenofovir. This is similar to other medications such as paracetamol which is available in different colours, shapes and sizes. All of these generic versions of tenofovir must meet strict approval processes and are equally effective.
If you are worried about this it’s a good idea to talk to your pharmacist.
