My CD4 count is only 5 – how long will the meds take to work?

I’m a 36 yr old female,i found out i was hiv+ three weeks ago. i was very sick and my cd4 came back 5, only 5. i have started taking arvs. Its been a week now.
I still feel sick and wonder how long the meds will take to be effective.

The meds started to work as soon as you started taking them.
As long as you continue to take them as prescribed, your CD4 should steadily get stronger again.

How long have you been on meds for? Do you know what’s causing you stress?
Am HIV positive and on medication.l feel stressed .How can l manage my stress?
