Is Atripla already available in UK on th NHS?
I am on a Sustiva + Truvada (efavirenz plus tenofovir/FTC) combo and I would like to change.

No, not yet.
Although this new formulation of efavirenz+tenofovir+FTC was approved in the US in July 2006, the European Regulatory Authority has still not made it’s decision.
This may be because the European agency still recommends that tenofovir is taken ‘with food’ while in the US it is recommended to be taken ‘with or without food’.
