Do I need to restart PEP after an exposure midway through?

Hi my name is Zizi. I am on PEP, day 23, and I have experienced another condom break. So now I don’t know know whether I have to restart or what please advice.

Hi, how are you doing?
No. You do not need to restart. While you are taking PEP it is able to act as PrEP.
This means you are protected from further exposures for the duration of your treatment course.
You can finish your course of PEP when you initially planned – in 5 days. There is no reason to extend it.
