Telatri is not meant to be used for prevention before an exposure. Telatri is used to treat or as post exposure prophylaxis. This means preventing HIV after an exposure.
Before an exposure, PrEP should be used. PrEP is usually a drug called Truvada. This is a a drug you can either take daily or on an as-and-when basis when exposure may happen.

HIV treatment is used to suppress HIV and stop it damaging your immune system. Your viral load will go down and your CD4 count will go up. Treatment needs to be taken daily and it should be taken at the same time each day.
