What are the side effects of Reydin?

Hi, my doctor gave me Reydin and I was drinking it at night at fist. My gums started bleeding and after that I had trouble concentrating. I also forget very easily. It is like I’m loosing my mind, what could be the problem?

Reydin is a generic version of TLD. This link is to a previous question about all TLD side effects. Reydin does not cause bleeding gums. Have you mentioned this symptom to a doctor?
How are you sleeping at night? Reydin is often best tolerated when taken during the morning. It can cause problems sleeping. If this is the case it would explain why you are having trouble concentrating.

Hi Catherine, Reydin is a generic version of TLD. Most commonly TLD is associated with general weight gain. It does not cause changes in the body’s fat deposition. Do you think you have had an overall loss or gain of weight?
When did you first notice these changes? and has anything in your life changed that could have caused this e.g., going to the gym, changing your diet, changing how active you are, etc?
How often are you suffering from dizziness? If this is a new symptom it will not be associated with your treatment. As you had started last year your body would have adjusted. Is this something you have spoken to your doctor about?
I started using reydin last year. I have noticed that I am gaining weight on upper body, loosing weight on lower body.
I sometimes suffer sevire dizziness

As with any skin rash it should be checked by a doctor. Skin needs to be looked at by a health professional to assess how to manage it.
Is this the first time you have noticed you get dizzy at work? By moving too quick do you mean walking fast or when you stand up? Have you had your blood pressure checked recently?

My name is Yolanda,39year old. I’ve been on Reydin for the past two weeks. I’ve noticed weight gain,bloating and skin rash. I do get dizzy when i wake up in the mornings ,it lasts for about an hour.Work life i do find that i get dizzy when i move too quick.I have not mentioned it to my Dr. Should i arrange one or wait for the next set visit with my doctor…?
Hi Lina, after 2 weeks it is unlikely that Reydin is the cause of your diarrhoea.
Do you have any other symptoms e.g. fever, chills, and/or vomiting?
It is possible Reydin could cause diarrhoea but this is more likely to occur sooner than 2 weeks. It would also be expected to self-resolve quickly.
If diarrhoea is the only symptom you have and it is not going away, speaking to your doctor for a short course of anti-diarrhoea tablets can help as your body adjusts to treatment.

Hi Ofentese, how much weight have you lost over the last month? and has anything else in your life changed that could have caused this weight loss e.g., increased stress, eating less and/or doing more activity/exercise?
Have you mentioned these symptoms to your doctor? and are these symptoms you have noticed before? Reydin does not cause vaginal bleeding and this should be investigated by your doctor. Have you noticed any other symptoms e.g., fevers, night sweats or poor appetite?
How soon after starting Reydin did you notice these symptoms or do you know if they were present before starting?
Hey, I started using Reydin a month ago and I’ve been experiencing weight loss on my lower body, I get easily exhausted and dizzy at some point. I have abdominal pains and sometimes my virgina bleeds without even being on my periods
Hi Lucy, Osteoarthritis is not a side effect of Reydin. Osteoarthritis is a degenerative condition usually caused by overuse of the joint. It is a common problem and many people find it to be a part of ageing. Are you being treated for Osteoarthritis?
