What are the side effects of Reydin?

Hi, my doctor gave me Reydin and I was drinking it at night at fist. My gums started bleeding and after that I had trouble concentrating. I also forget very easily. It is like I’m loosing my mind, what could be the problem?

Reydin is a generic version of TLD. This link is to a previous question about all TLD side effects. Reydin does not cause bleeding gums. Have you mentioned this symptom to a doctor?
How are you sleeping at night? Reydin is often best tolerated when taken during the morning. It can cause problems sleeping. If this is the case it would explain why you are having trouble concentrating.

Hi Mikkie, have you noticed how much weight you have lost and over what time period?
How long have you been on Reydin? Flatulence is a common side effect of Reydin (caused by dolutegravir). Is this causing any discomfort or pain? and have you tried anything to help?

Since I started with Reydin I feel.a bit lighter than before but it comes with a lot of farting which was never on Trenvir
Hi Tumelo, yes this is a combination to be used as PEP. Reydin is a generic version of TLD and is often a first line recommendation to be used as PEP.

I’ve been prescribed to use Reydin by my Doctor after having unprotected sexual intercourse for Incase the other person might have HIV , is it good as he said I might use it as PEP
Hi Nkosi, Reydin is not PrEP. Reydin is a triple-drug regimen used as PEP or treatment.
PrEP is a 2-drug combination. Usually it is called Truvada.

Pimples are not usually associated with Reydin and are very common caused by a number of things. Have you experienced pimples like this before? and if so how have you managed them in the past?
A pimple should be able to be managed by your pharmacist if they persist. Reydin would not be a likely cause.
I have two days to using my tables but I see the big pimples in back of my ears.so wht I can use for that cz it’s paining
