Is it possible for a HIV positive male to have a HIV negative child?
Answer
Hi, how are you doing?
Yes this is possible.
Are you on treatment? If you are and have a viral load below 200/undetectable there is no risk of transmission.
This means you would be unable to pass it on to your partner via sex. As you would not be able to transmit HIV there would be no risk to baby.
