Why have I been feeling ill since starting treatment?

I have been on TLD for 2 years I always have sick since starting ,I have diarrhoea, high bp, my sugar levels are also high and problems with my kidneys. I spoke to the nurse about my issues, they are just telling me that TLD is the way to go. I feel like stop drinking these pills.

How did you feel before starting treatment? and how soon after TLD did you notice problems with your health?
Do you know what your most recent viral load and CD4 test results are?
Have you been seen by a doctor? High BP, high blood sugar and kidney problems should all be managed by your doctor.
It is also possible they are linked. Are you on any treatment for any of these problems?
TLD can cause problems with kidneys which is why this should be monitored. Have you had a test looking at something called eGFR? This looks at how well your kidney is working and should be above 60.
Have you spoken with anyone that you are thinking of stopping? I recognise why you may be feeling this way but treatment is the best way to keep HIV suppressed and stop it affecting your life. That being said, these side effects (if they are caused by TLD) should be managed as there are options for helping with the symptoms or discussing if other HIV treatments are available.
