Can I get a work permit in Australia if I'm HIV positive?

I am qualified mental nurse and I am HIV positive. Can I be allowed to work in Australia?
Answer
The Australian Government operates one of the world’s most stringent health-screening regimes for visa applicants. Â Currently, as in almost every country of the world, foreigners applying for most types of Australian visas, excluding temporary visitor visas, require a health check. The certified results are a required part of their immigration documents.
The Australian government Department of Immigration and Citizenship also wrote :-
“If the applicant is found to be HIV positive, a decision on whether the applicant meets the health requirement will be made on the same grounds as any other pre-existing medical condition. The main factor to be taken into account is the cost of the condition to the Australian community of health care and community services. Standard pre and post-test counselling must be provided by the doctor who examined the applicant.”

Hi Rita, I am sorry but i-Base doesn’t have information or links about jobs. Being HIV positive should not affect whether or not you can be a nanny in the UK so I hope you are lucky getting this work. Are you on treatment with an undetectable viral load? This I think is probably important.
my name is Rita .im looking for a job as a nanny at uk but im hiv positive what can l do
Hi Sona, I am sorry that i-Base only provides information on HIV treatment. Many countries do not include a medical test for people who want to settle. Unfortunately, a few countries still use HIV as an exclusion. This website has information on most countries:

Hi Rasal, most countries do not test for HIV if you are just visiting. Some countries require an HIV test if you want to live there. This website has more information:
