Is there a difference between Atripla, Odimune, Rizene and Tribuss etc

I started with Atripla, then received Odimune and now I have been given Tribuss from my provider.
I have never had side effects. How safe is it for me to take Tribuss?
I’m afraid it might change how I look. Is it the same as the two I have already been taking?

Tribuss and Odimune are generic versions of the fixed dose combination pill Atripla. These drugs have different names because they are made by different manufacturers.
Each version contains the same doses of three drugs. These are tenofovir, FTC and efavirenz.
There are no safety concerns from switching from one version to another.
Although some HIV meds have been linked to body shape changes, this is not commonly reported for any of these drugs. One exception, generally rare, is that efavirenz has been linked to weight gain in breast tissue – also called gynaecomastia (GYE-na-co-MAS-tee-ah).

Atrozia and Acriptega are both a single pill combination of ARVs, they are both effective at controlling a person’s HIV. Acriptega is now the preferred first line option as it is known to have less side effects than Atrozia.
With regards to changing to Atrozia, is there any specific reason why you would like to change to this?
Is Acriptega and atroiza work the same?
And can I switc to atroiza if I was taking acriptega?

The meds that you’re taking don’t really make you lose weight, if you’re losing weight you need to discuss this with a healthcare professional.
Hi, I am on Tribuss for about 10 years now. For the past year I notice that I am losing fat on my arms, legs, face etc. CD4 count +650, viral load is undetectable. What could be the problem, and which meds to change to. Thank you.

If someone is going to get side effects from ARVs, this usually happens within the first few weeks, not several months after. Given that you’ve got a rash the best thing to do is to contact a healthcare professional, if possible a dermatologist.

It’s been three months on medication now but the problem is that a week ago I started having a very terrible rash on my face, neck and trunk but on my face it’s too much and stressing me out. Rizene and Odimune are both generic versions of Atripla, please see here:https://i-base.info/guides/1561 What this means is that they contain the same compounds. It’s very common to switch between different generic versions of Atripla.
I’m taking Odimune and now the medical aid want me to rizene. What’s the different between these two. Does they have the same ingredients?
Hi Zee, yes, both Atroiza and Triemta contain the same active drugs. In South Africa (and many other countries) the same drugs are made by different companies and have different trade names. See this link for more example:
