Can I restart meds if I stopped them for a week?

I’m getting worried about my health, I’ve missed many times to take my med, sometimes I missed 7 days full, so today I started to take it , is it risk now if I continue taking my meds? I live in South Africa.

Is there a reason why you miss your meds sometimes?
I ask this in case there are things that your clinic could help with to make things easier? For example, if this is related to side effects, then using a different HIV combination might help. If it is just from forgetting, the clinic could give advice on ways to remember.
Either way, it is really good that you want to start treatment again.
Luckily, your meds are very likely to still work very well when you start to use them again, It is still good to tell your clinic about any difficulties you have though so they can help.
