What causes viral load to be detectable if I always take my meds?

I am on ART in the USA and suddenly became detectable but I don’t miss my meds.

What can cause that to happen?

Thanks for your question but we really need a bit more info to answer this properly.

Please can you say what the result of the VL test was – ie what was the number.

If it was detectable but still less than 200, this might just be an error with the test.

Or it might just be a random blip result that will go down again by itself.

This would mean you haven’t done anything to cause this.

The higher the result though, then other things could be the cause, for example if it is still below 1000 or if it is higher than 1000.
