Why have I tested positive and my husband negative?

Hi, my husband and I have been together for over 10 years sleeping without protection. I tested positive and his came back negative.
How is this possible after 10 years of not using protection?

Have you had a second test to confirm your result? Where did you both get tested?
Since you have been together have you tested to find out your status in the last 10 years?
Have you been told what your CD4 count and viral load is?
There are other routes of transmission other than sex e.g., birth, needles and coming into contact with blood. Would any of these apply to you?
